Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite is slightly better than Huawei Mate 50E, with a global score of 79.5 against 78.9. Despite of the fact the Huawei P40 Lite is older and a little bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 50E, it's design is still a bit lighter. Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 OS, and Huawei Mate 50E works with HarmonyOS 3 OS.
Huawei Mate 50E features a bit superior processor than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 50E also has 2 GB more RAM. Huawei Mate 50E counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a slightly higher 1224 x 2700 pixels resolution, a just a bit more pixels per display inch and a bit bigger screen.
The Huawei P40 Lite and Huawei Mate 50E count with really similar memory capacity for apps and games, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 50E has a little longer battery life than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 4460mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh. Huawei P40 Lite captures much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 50E, although it has a much smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations and a camera with less MP resolution.
