Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone's overall score of 77.1. Although the Huawei Mate 8 is incredibly older than Asus ROG Phone, it's design is a little thinner and a little lighter. The Asus ROG Phone has a little faster CPU than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone has a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a same size screen, the Asus ROG Phone also has a little higher pixels density and a quite better 1080 x 2160px resolution. Huawei Mate 8 takes much better photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and video, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Asus ROG Phone has a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Asus ROG Phone features a battery life that is very similar to Huawei Mate 8's battery duration.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Huawei Mate 8 is also a bargain compared to others.
