The Asus ROG Phone 3 is much better than Huawei Mate 8, getting an 86.3 score against 77.4. The Asus ROG Phone 3 body is a lot newer than the Huawei Mate 8's, but it is notably heavier and notably thicker. Asus ROG Phone 3 features a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has more RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 features a better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a quite larger screen, a bit higher number of pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Asus ROG Phone 3 takes much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a camera with a way better 64 megapixels resolution, a larger aperture for better low-light photography and videos and a way higher video resolution.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a very superior storage to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 3, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a way better battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
