Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 6a's 76.4 global score. Huawei Mate 8's body is somewhat thinner than Google Pixel 6a, but it's just a little heavier and was released many years before. The Huawei Mate 8 features just a bit better looking display than Google Pixel 6a, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px.
Huawei Mate 8 features a really superior hardware performance than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores. Huawei Mate 8 counts with much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 6a, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Google Pixel 6a features a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4410mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Google Pixel 6a shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a camera in the back with lot less MP, it also counts with a bigger aperture and a lot higher video definition.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 6a. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 6a, letting go some features and specifications.
