Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 lite, with a 77.4 score against 76.2. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 8's design is notably older, just a little heavier and a bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 20 lite. Huawei Mate 20 lite has a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a little bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a quite higher number of pixels in each inch of screen.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a little faster processor than Huawei Mate 20 lite. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory. Huawei Mate 8 features a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 384 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 7 percent more battery size. The Huawei Mate 20 lite captures clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a back-facing camera with a higher 20 megapixels resolution and a larger aperture for better images in poorly lited situations.
