Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 50E is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, with a 78.9 score against 77.4. The Huawei Mate 50E body has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 8, but it's a little bit heavier. Huawei Mate 50E features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 50E also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Huawei Mate 50E features a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a just a little greater amount of pixels per screen inch, a quite bigger display and a better resolution of 1224 x 2700. Huawei Mate 8 shoots clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 50E, although it has a lot tinier camera aperture and a back-facing camera with a way worse 16 MP resolution.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 50E, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB. Huawei Mate 50E has a bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 12 percent more battery capacity.
