Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is much better than Huawei Mate 8's score of 77.4. Huawei Mate X2 is a much newer cellphone than the Huawei Mate 8, but it's just a bit thicker and much heavier. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with just a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a way higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px, a lot larger screen and a quite better amount of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little bit better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate X2 has a bit superior CPU than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate X2 also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate X2 features a lot better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a larger aperture, a much better video resolution and a way higher resolution back facing camera. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Huawei Mate 8, resigning some specs and features.
