Comparison review
The Huawei Mate Xs is better than the Huawei Mate 8, getting a general score of 91.6 against 77.4. Even though Huawei Mate Xs is notably newer than Huawei Mate 8, it's noticeably heavier and extremely thicker. The Huawei Mate Xs has a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a lot better 2200 x 2480 resolution, a little bit better display pixels density and a way bigger screen.
Huawei Mate Xs counts with a little better performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate Xs also has more RAM. The Huawei Mate Xs features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
