Huawei nova 9 Pro has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 8's general score of 77.4. Huawei nova 9 Pro's body has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 8, but it is just a little bit heavier. Huawei nova 9 Pro counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little larger screen, a better 1236 x 2676 pixels resolution and a little bit better quantity of pixels per display inch.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei nova 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
