Comparison review
The Huawei P10 Plus is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, getting a 79.8 score against 77.4. Huawei P10 Plus is a newer phone, and it's also thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 8. The Huawei P10 Plus features a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P10 Plus also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P10 Plus features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Huawei P10 Plus has just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei P10 Plus also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei P10 Plus shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a back facing camera with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in low light situations and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a little longer battery life than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.
