Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, having a general score of 81.4 against 77.4. The Huawei P20 Pro design has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 8, but it's just a little lighter. The Huawei P20 Pro features a little better performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has more RAM memory.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bit greater quantity of pixels per inch of display, a quite larger screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2240px. The Huawei Mate 8 has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
Huawei P20 Pro's battery life is just as good as Huawei Mate 8's battery lifetime. The Huawei P20 Pro has a much better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a larger camera aperture to take better captures in low light environments, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way higher 40 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Huawei P20 Pro is also a bargain compared to the other phones, which makes it an easy decision.
