The Huawei P40 is much better than the Huawei Mate 8, with an 86.4 score against 77.4. The Huawei P40 construction is extremely newer and a bit lighter, but just a little bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 8. Huawei P40 has just a little better performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Huawei Mate 8 counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Huawei Mate 8 counts with just a bit better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
