Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is much better than Huawei Mate 8's score of 77.4. Huawei P40 Pro's construction is notably newer than Huawei Mate 8's, although it's heavier and somewhat thicker. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little faster CPU than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit larger screen, a bit better number of pixels in each inch of screen and a better 1200 x 2640 resolution.
