Comparison review
Huawei P50 is much better than Huawei Mate 8, getting an 86.3 score against 77.4. The Huawei P50 is a a little lighter cellphone than the Huawei Mate 8, but both of them have the same thickness. Huawei P50 features a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a higher 1224 x 2700 resolution, a little larger display and a just a little more pixels per display inch.
Huawei P50 has a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P50 also has more RAM memory. The Huawei P50 features just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a much more megapixels back facing camera and a bigger camera aperture for better captures and video in low light environments.
The Huawei P50 features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei P50 has just a bit better battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
