Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Moto G Power's 76.1 global score. Despite of the fact that Huawei Mate 8 is way older than Moto G Power, it's design is a little bit lighter and thinner. Moto G Power has just a bit better display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little greater pixel amount in each inch in the screen, a bit bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2300px.
The Huawei Mate 8 features slightly more storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage. Huawei Mate 8 features a bit better hardware performance than Moto G Power. They have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
The Motorola Moto G Power features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the Motorola Moto G Power also has a lot higher video quality and a larger camera aperture to take better low-light images and video. The Moto G Power counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G Power. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G Power, resigning a couple features and specs.
