Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G Power (2021)'s score of 76.5. Huawei Mate 8's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola Moto G Power (2021), despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Huawei Mate 8 has a bit sharper screen than Moto G Power (2021), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel amount per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a bit superior CPU than Moto G Power (2021). They have 8 cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a slightly better storage capacity for apps and games than Motorola Moto G Power (2021), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Motorola Moto G Power (2021) features better battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 25% larger battery size. Moto G Power (2021) has a better camera than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Moto G Power (2021) also has a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G Power (2021), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G Power (2021). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, else you can save some money and get the Moto G Power (2021), giving up a couple features and specifications.
