The Huawei Mate 8 is an incredibly older device than Moto G8 Power, but Huawei managed to build it somewhat thinner and a bit lighter anyway. The Moto G8 Power has a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit larger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2300px and a quite greater quantity of pixels in each display inch.
Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better performance than Moto G8 Power. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 cores. Huawei Mate 8 features a slightly better memory for games and applications than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Moto G8 Power features improved battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Moto G8 Power shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the Moto G8 Power also has a bigger aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations and a much higher video resolution.
