The Huawei Mate 8 has a general score of 77.4, which is slightly better than Moto G8 Power's score of 76. The Huawei Mate 8 is an incredibly older device than Moto G8 Power, but Huawei managed to build it somewhat thinner and a bit lighter anyway. The Moto G8 Power has a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit larger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2300px and a quite greater quantity of pixels in each display inch.

Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better performance than Moto G8 Power. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 cores. Huawei Mate 8 features a slightly better memory for games and applications than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Moto G8 Power features improved battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Moto G8 Power shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the Moto G8 Power also has a bigger aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations and a much higher video resolution.

Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, else you can save some money and get the Moto G8 Power, letting go a couple specs and features.
