The Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than Moto G9 Play's global score of 76.7. The Huawei Mate 8 design is thinner and a little lighter than the Moto G9 Play, despite of the fact that it was released 5 years before. The Huawei Mate 8 features a bit more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and more pixels per screen inch.
Huawei Mate 8 features a little bit more memory to store more games and applications than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows 384 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 8 has a little faster processor than Motorola Moto G9 Play. Both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Moto G9 Play has a lot better camera than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rate, the Moto G9 Play also has a camera in the back with a way better 48 mega pixels resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture.
