Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 is a little bit better than nubia Red Magic 5S, having a score of 77.4 against 76.2. The Huawei Mate 8 is an older device than nubia Red Magic 5S, but it is lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. The nubia Red Magic 5S has a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the nubia Red Magic 5S also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The nubia Red Magic 5S features a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bit bigger screen, a little more pixels per display inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Huawei Mate 8 has a way bigger storage for applications and games than nubia Red Magic 5S, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB.
The nubia Red Magic 5S features a bit superior battery life than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. Nubia Red Magic 5S has a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bigger aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited environments, a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution and a way higher 64 mega pixels resolution back camera.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is more expensive than the nubia Red Magic 5S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the nubia Red Magic 5S. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy nubia Red Magic 5S, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
