Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Alpha, getting a 77.4 score against 76.3. The Huawei Mate 8 is a way heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than Galaxy Alpha. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, although it has a lot smaller screen, a lot lower 1280 x 720 resolution and a just a bit lower number of pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser cpu cores , it also counts with an extra GPU. Galaxy Alpha counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and videos in poorly lited environments and a much worse 12 megapixels resolution camera, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Huawei Mate 8 has a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 115 percent larger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, letting go some features and specs.
