Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy C5's 76.4 global score. Huawei Mate 8's construction is heavier and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy C5. The Huawei Mate 8 has just a little better performance than Galaxy C5. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores.
Samsung Galaxy C5 features a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy C5 also counts with a just a bit greater pixels number per inch of display. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Galaxy C5, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a really longer battery life than Galaxy C5, because it has a 54 percent more battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 8 shoots clearer photos and videos than Galaxy C5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same resolution back camera, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with faster video frame rate.
