Samsung Galaxy S23 has a general score of 77.9, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 8's general score of 77.4. The Samsung Galaxy S23 body is a bit thinner and incredibly lighter than the Huawei Mate 8. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much better processing power than Galaxy S23, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a slightly better display than Galaxy S23, although it has a little bit smaller display, a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a just a little worse amount of pixels per inch in the display. Huawei Mate 8 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S23, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
Huawei Mate 8 has just a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S23, because it has a 3% larger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S23 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in poorly lited environments and a back-facing camera with much more MP.
