The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a score of 78.1, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8's overall score of 77.4. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus body is much lighter than the Huawei Mate 8, although it is just a little thicker and was released just 18 months before. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a better screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a bit better pixels amount in each inch in the screen.
