Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 8's overall score of 77.4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a somewhat thicker but much lighter cellphone than the Huawei Mate 8. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a bit superior CPU than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64-bits processor and a GPU.
Galaxy S6 Active has a much more vibrant screen than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440px resolution and a way higher number of pixels per inch of display. The Huawei Mate 8 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, they both have the same video frame rate, a camera in the back with a 16 mega-pixels and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Huawei Mate 8 features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 8 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy S6 Active is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making this phone a no doubt choice.
