Samsung Galaxy S9 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, with a score of 83.3 against 77.4. Samsung Galaxy S9's construction is incredibly newer and somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 8's, but it is just a little bit thicker. The Galaxy S9 features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 8. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 4 GB RAM.
The Galaxy S9 features a much better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a way greater display pixel density. The Galaxy S9 takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a way less megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a much bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a lot better video definition.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S9, because although it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 8 features longer battery performance than Galaxy S9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
