Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a global score of 80.1, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 8's overall score of 77.4. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro body is way newer than the Huawei Mate 8's, but it is extremely heavier and way thicker. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei Mate 8. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a brighter display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a much higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The Huawei Mate 8 has a much better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a much tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking photos and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution.
Huawei Mate 8 has a little bit better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features just a little bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 13% more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei Mate 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
