Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is better than Huawei Mate 8's 77.4 global score. Xperia 5 II's design has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 8, but it is lighter. Xperia 5 II counts with just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 II also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit better display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution, a quite larger screen and a just a bit greater pixels density. The Xperia 5 II has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
Xperia 5 II's battery life is very similar to the Huawei Mate 8 one. Xperia 5 II counts with a much better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a lot less MP resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a much higher video resolution.
The Xperia 5 II costs more than Huawei Mate 8, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
