Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 8, getting a score of 78.6 against 77.4. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus body is newer than the Huawei Mate 8's, but it's a little bit heavier and thicker. The Xperia XA2 Plus features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a CPU that's very similar to Huawei Mate 8's processor, and although the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has 2 GB more RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Huawei Mate 8 has just a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has an external SD slot that supports 272 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 8 features a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
