Comparison review
The Xiaomi 12 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, getting a 78.8 score against 77.4. Xiaomi 12 is a notably newer and just a little lighter cellphone than the Huawei Mate 8, but it is also a little thicker. Huawei Mate 8 features a much better performing processing unit than Xiaomi 12, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Xiaomi 12 counts with a much better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit larger display, a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a little better pixels amount in each display inch. Xiaomi 12 takes way better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera, a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos in low light environments and a lot better video quality.
Huawei Mate 8 features a very superior storage for applications and games than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi 12 counts with just a little better battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
