Xiaomi 12 Pro has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 8's 77.4 global score. The Xiaomi 12 Pro construction is noticeably newer, but just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker than Huawei Mate 8. The Huawei Mate 8 has a much better hardware performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a higher display pixel density, a much better 1440 x 3200 resolution and a little bigger display. Huawei Mate 8 features a superior storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a much better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a larger aperture, a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a camera with way more mega pixels. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
