Huawei Mate 8 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 6, getting a 77.4 score against 76.5. Despite being the best we compare here, the Huawei Mate 8 is an older, just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi 6. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features just a little better performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a brighter display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also counts with a quite better pixels number per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate 8 has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
Huawei Mate 8 has better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3350mAh. Xiaomi Mi 6 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture and a much better video resolution.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 6. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 6, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
