Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE's 75.9 overall score. Huawei Mate 8 is a noticeably older, just a little bit thicker and heavier phone than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE features a better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2244px and a quite higher pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a much greater storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
