Xiaomi Mi 9 is a bit better than Huawei Mate 8, with a score of 83.2 against 77.4. The Xiaomi Mi 9 body is a lot newer, just a bit lighter and just a bit thinner than Huawei Mate 8. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 9 features a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution, a just a bit better number of pixels per display inch and a little bigger screen. The Xiaomi Mi 9 takes much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a larger camera aperture, a way better 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera with a much higher resolution.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 128 GB. Huawei Mate 8 counts with superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
