Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a overall score of 77.4 against 76.6. Despite of the fact that the Huawei Mate 8 is extremely older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's body is thinner and a bit lighter. Huawei Mate 8 features a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate 8 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a just a bit better display pixels density and a bit larger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
Huawei Mate 8 features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features improved battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 26 percent bigger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
