Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, with a general score of 82.7 against 81.9. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Edge 50 Neo has Android 14, giving you some extra features and enhanced performance. The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design is an noticeably older device than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, but it's just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter anyway.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, because although it has a little worse 1256 x 2760 resolution and a bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger screen. Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design counts with a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo captures greater photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo also has a much bigger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality, a camera in the back with lot more megapixels and a larger aperture.
