Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M12, with an 82.7 score against 80. Although the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design is noticeably older than the Samsung Galaxy M12, it's construction is way lighter and thinner. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design has 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy M12 has Android 10 version.
The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design counts with an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design has a bit bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design also has more RAM. Galaxy M12 features a much better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, because it has a 50% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy M12 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M12 also has a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations and a back camera with lot more MP.
