Comparison review
Google Pixel 2 XL has an overall score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's general score of 78.7. The Google Pixel 2 XL body is newer, but a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a screen that is just as good as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, although the Google Pixel 2 XL also has a bit larger screen, a just a little higher display pixels density and a slightly better 1440 x 2880 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Google Pixel 2 XL's storage capacity to install games and applications is just as good as Huawei Mate 9 Pro's one, both have equal internal memory.
The Google Pixel 2 XL shoots clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Google Pixel 2 XL also has a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality photos and videos, a back facing camera with a higher 12.2 MP resolution and a bigger aperture.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little longer battery performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Google Pixel 2 XL is also a bargain compared to others.
