Google Pixel 4a has a score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 global score. These phones include Android operating system, but Google Pixel 4a has the older 11 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Google Pixel 4a design is noticeably newer and lighter than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, although it's a bit thicker.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit better screen than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Google Pixel 4a's storage capacity for games and applications is just as good as Huawei Mate 9 Pro's one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a bit better performance than Google Pixel 4a. They have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Google Pixel 4a has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Google Pixel 4a also has a back camera with a better resolution, a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photography and videos.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features greater battery performance than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 27% larger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Google Pixel 4a is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
