Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is just a bit better than the Honor 50 Pro's overall score of 77. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Honor 50 Pro has Android 11, so it provides a lot of extra features and a performance increase. Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is incredibly older than the Honor 50 Pro, it's body is a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper screen than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a little greater pixels density. The Honor 50 Pro has a bit superior processor than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 50 Pro also has more RAM memory.
Honor 50 Pro has a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Honor 50 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light captures and video and a lot better resolution camera in the back.
Honor 50 Pro features a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has more internal storage. Honor 50 Pro and Huawei Mate 9 Pro both have incredibly similar batteries duration.
