Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a bit better than HTC U Ultra, having a global score of 78.7 against 77. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter phone than HTC U Ultra, even though both were released only a couple months apart. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little bit better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also counts with a quite higher pixels density.
HTC U Ultra counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little better performance than HTC U Ultra, because it has more cpu cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with superior battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. HTC U Ultra counts with a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same video frame rate and a same resolution back facing camera, the HTC U Ultra also has a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
