Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than the HTC U11's 77.6 score. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a just a little thinner cellphone than HTC U11, but both weight 5.96oz. HTC U11's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although the HTC U11 has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
HTC U11 counts with a display that is just as good as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, they have the same pixel density, exactly the same 1440 x 2560px resolution and a same size display. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little bit better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC U11, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
HTC U11 counts with a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and the same resolution camera in the back, the HTC U11 also has a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much larger aperture to capture better low-light images and video.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features superior battery performance than HTC U11, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC U11. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC U11, resigning a couple features and specs.
