Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's score of 78.7. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the previous 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a much newer phone than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it's somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels amount per inch in the display.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro takes way better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a camera with a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution, a bigger aperture for better photos and video in low light environments, better 60 fps video frame rates and a lot larger back camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and pictures.
