Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having an 89.1 score against 78.7. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X2 has the previous 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Huawei Mate X2 is a a lot newer cellphone than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it's incredibly heavier and just a bit thicker.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a greater pixels number per inch of display. The Huawei Mate X2 has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate X2 has a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate X2 shoots better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos and a back camera with a lot better 50 MP resolution.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 13 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, letting go some features and specs.
