Comparison review
The Huawei P10 Plus is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a 79.8 score against 78.7. Huawei P10 Plus's design is a little lighter and a bit thinner than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although both of them were only released 3 months apart. Huawei P10 Plus counts with a screen that is very similar to the screen in Huawei Mate 9 Pro, both of them have the same exact 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, the same display density and a same size screen.
The Huawei P10 Plus features a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei P10 Plus also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P10 Plus counts with a CPU that is very similar to Huawei Mate 9 Pro's CPU, both of them have 8 cpu cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a slightly better camera than Huawei P10 Plus, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs or video in poorly lited situations, they both have a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
