Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a 79.5 score against 78.7. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Lite has 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Huawei P40 Lite is a extremely newer device than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it is somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei P40 Lite. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro and the Huawei P40 Lite have very similar memory to store more apps and games, they have the same internal storage capacity. Huawei P40 Lite captures much better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a way more mega pixels camera in the back, a bigger diafragm aperture and a much bigger back camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and pictures.
Huawei P40 Lite features just a bit longer battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5 percent more battery size.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Huawei P40 Lite is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes this phone an obvious call.
