Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a general score of 88.2 against 78.7. Huawei P40 Pro's body is way newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, but it is heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 Pro has 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a bit better looking screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a just a bit greater display pixels density. Huawei P40 Pro counts with as much memory for applications and games as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, they have the same internal storage.
Huawei P40 Pro features a bit superior processor than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
