The Huawei P50 Pro is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having an 80 score against 78.7. The Huawei P50 Pro works with HarmonyOS OS, while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo OS. The Huawei P50 Pro design is notably newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, although it is just a little thicker and somewhat heavier.
