The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's overall score of 78.7. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. The LG V30S ThinQ is a newer phone, and it is also a little lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro.

LG V30S ThinQ features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. They have a 6 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a display that is very similar to the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, although the LG V30S ThinQ also has a quite larger screen, a quite better number of pixels in each display inch and a quite better 1440 x 2880 resolution.

LG V30S ThinQ captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a lot bigger aperture and a back camera with much more mega pixels.

LG V30S ThinQ features a way bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with improved battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.

LG V30S ThinQ costs more than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
