Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G Power's global score of 76.1. These phones have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto G Power has Android 11 version, so it provides you some nice extra features and performance tweaks. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's body is lighter and noticeably thinner than the Motorola Moto G Power, even though it was released many years before.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper display than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater pixel number per screen inch. Moto G Power counts with a bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little bit better performance than Motorola Moto G Power, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM. The Moto G Power shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Moto G Power also has a back facing camera with way more megapixels, a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a way bigger aperture.

Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G Power. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto G Power, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
