Comparison review

Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than Moto G8 Power, with a general score of 78.7 against 76. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version, so it gives lots of additional features. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro body is somewhat lighter and much thinner than Moto G8 Power, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a better 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power features a quite bigger storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Power captures a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Moto G8 Power also has a larger sensor taking higher quality videos and photos, a much better resolution camera in the back and a much larger camera aperture for better low-light photos and videos.

Moto G8 Power has longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.

Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G8 Power. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Motorola Moto G8 Power, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
